Fresh roasted coffee is our art, our craft, and
our obsession. Searching the globe for the
world’s greatest coffee beans is our job. But,
that in itself, is not enough to bring our
customers the freshest, most incredible coffee
experience possible.

Every pound of Cashua Coffee that we roast is
a custom order. Whether we are roasting for
an individual or a retail sales outlet, we
measure out those beans precisely to order,
pour them into our custom Probat roaster
which spins and turns the beans at our
specified temperature. Our roastmaster
monitors temperature, air flow, roast time and
several other variables as the beans snap,
pop and release the most delicious, chocolaty
aroma. The roastmaster may, through the
skillful manipulation of the damper, choose to
retain these aromas in the roasting drum,
adding a smoky complexity to certain types of
beans which respond well to the “Aroma
Roast”.

Through visual, audible and olfactory cues, we
hone in on the desired roast level, sensing the
exact moment to release the beans into the
cooling tray, where the roasting process is
abruptly halted to prevent over roasting. This
is where the experience and keen senses of
the roastmaster are of the utmost importance.

One of the most beautiful things about the
Cashua Experience is what happens next.
The fresh, roasted beans are precisely
weighed and bagged and delivered to their
destination with lightning speed. This is to
ensure that every bag of Cashua Fresh
Roasted Coffee is consumed and “off the
Earth” within a couple weeks of roasting,
removing the chance of it ever becoming  
stale. This is our commitment to ourselves
and our customers.
